Here are the Details for Your Walleye Fishing Adventure. Your safety on the lake is important to me.  I supply life jackets to all guests. I use a 2018 Lund Pro Guide 1775 boat with 75hp Mercury tiller with a Minnkota Ulterra “I-Link hummingbird HD 12” screen. I limit the participants to two people for each nighttime fishing adventure. 

I met Don while fishing with a larger group at Lake of the Woods in 2014 and right away I could tell that he knew where to find the walleye. As the group struggled to find fish, Don quickly found a tactic that consistently boated fish.  Our friendship grew from there and I expressed an interest to fish Ottertail as I knew that he was a master of lakes in that area.  I finally made a trip up to night fish walleye with Don in October 2017 and boy did he put us on the fish.  It was absolutely phenomenal fishing and I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The fishing, hospitality, and comradely were unparalleled.  Don and I have become very close friends as his passion for walleye fishing just keeps growing. To make your nighttime walleye fishing adventure successful, I ask that you have no electronic devices and your phones must be powered off. This allows you to learn about the many tactics I used to catch more and bigger fish.

Details on Your Walleye Fishing Adventure that I supply the following for each nighttime walleye-fishing trip on Ottertail Lake. I supply the rods. I will set up rods for trolling, live bait and jigging so that you can maximize your for your bait in the water.

I supply the life jackets for each of my guests.

I know the walleye eating habits at night. I supply the appropriate baits and lures depending upon the current eating habits of the walleyes.

I will supply snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to add to your unique walleye fishing experience.

What You Need to Bring

You want to be comfortable for your nighttime walleye fishing adventure. Bring clothes to accommodate weather, rain gear, warm clothes, etc., depending upon conditions. If you have questions about these clothes and the conditions, give me a call. Conditions change.

You will need to bring is a valid Minnesota fishing license. The Minnesota DNR does offer one-day Minnesota fishing licenses.
